NAI Tech Products has many solutions designed for Radiology applications:
- Connecting non-DICOM modalities to PACS or Print Networks
- Capturing, editing and recording streaming video from applications such as X-ray Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound and sending these studies to PACS or recording onto removable media
- Receiving studies from DICOM Modalities, editing, and sending to PACS or recording onto CD/DVD or USB media
For connecting legacy non-DICOM modalities and sending still frame images to PACS or DICOM Print Networks, the DiCOM box is the leading solution with over 11,000 installations worldwide. It is compatible with all modalities that have a video (the DiCOM box CA) or digital laser printer output (the DiCOM box DVI). The DiCOM box can support Modality Worklist, Modality Performed Procedure Step (MPPS) and Storage Commitment. If there is a need to record studies onto CD/DVD or USB media, the MDR Video would be the recommended solution.
For capturing streaming video from modalities such as X-ray Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound, converting to DICOM and sending to PACS we have two solutions.
MDR Video captures high resolution streaming video from any dynamic imaging system, converts it to DICOM and records to CD/DVD/USB media and sends to PACS. Video cine clips can be edited and single frames captured prior to being recorded to media or sent to PACS. The MDR Video supports Modality Worklist, Modality Performed Procedure Step (MPPS) and Storage Commitment and burns studies to CD/DVD/USB media in DICOM format with a powerful DICOM Viewer. MDR Video RP also labels CD/DVD media with a full color inkjet label with patient and study demographic information.
If recording to media or editing cine clips is not needed, the DiCOM box CA+ captures streaming video and sends video cine clips to PACS using DICOM Store. It has all the capabilities of the DiCOM box CA and DVI.
To burn DICOM studies onto CD/DVD/USB media from any DICOM modality, there are three PACSGEAR solutions. MDR Express is a single disk burning solution for creating CD/DVD/USB media with a DICOM Viewer at the modality. Dynamic cine clips can be trimmed and single frames captured prior to recording to media or sending to PACS. MDR Express RP adds disk labeling to the capabilities of MDR Express. MDR Publisher is an enterprise class robotic disk publisher with dual disk burners and high resolution inkjet label printer designed for centralized disk production.
